The University of Tennessee Health Science Center - Nashville at Nashville, OB/GYN Residency Program has an immediate opening for a core faculty position. The primary site for the program is Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital Midtown. The program’s clinic is a newly-renovated 16,000 square foot facility that is in the heart of the community it serves.
This position is responsible for clinical care in general obstetrics and gynecology including labor & delivery, outpatient care, and gynecological surgery, with oversight and teaching of medical students and residents.
Ascension Saint Thomas and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) have an established partnership in Middle Tennessee for training medical residents and fellows in a variety of specialties including cardiology, emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and general surgery.

The hospital is one of the largest in the state with 683 licensed acute and rehab care beds and covers nearly 2 million square feet and spans more than six city blocks.

Requirements
Required Credential(s): Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
