The Group Treasury team plays a critical role in supporting the business and customers by delivering expertise in balance sheet management and risk resilience.
Your new role
As a Senior Manager in Stress Testing within the Balance Sheet, Efficiency & Resilience team, you will lead a team of analysts to apply advanced analytics and scenario modelling. Your insights will help ensure the Group's resilience during periods of uncertainty.Key responsibilities include:
Leading the development and execution of financial and risk models to assess profitability, capital, credit, and liquidity impacts under stress scenarios.
Preparing high-quality presentations and reports for senior leadership.
Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance and Risk Management.
Managing and mentoring a team of Analysts and Senior Analysts.
Supporting Group Treasury in managing capital, liquidity, and funding strategies.
Contributing to regulatory stress testing exercises and ensuring compliance.
Driving continuous improvement in methodologies, processes, and tools.
What you'll need to succeed
- Tertiary qualifications in mathematics, statistics, engineering, economics, or similar quantitative discipline.
- Proficiency in data management and programming (SQL, R, Python, SAS).
- Experience in credit risk modelling (IRB or IFRS9) and/or financial modelling is highly desirable.
- Understanding of the Australian prudential regulatory environment and APS standards.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to deliver under pressure.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- A proactive risk mindset.
